Elise

Elise started skating just before her 3rd, birthday in a small parks and rec program.
She joined a skating club when she was 5 and has never looked back. Elise excelled early, winning in only her second competition.
She joined RTC in 2013 in search of a more competitive environment to pursue her goals and at that time, was also competing in gymnastics. Her coaches, Ken & Danielle Rose saw the potential in Elise from the moment they started teaching her. They love her enthusiasm for the sport and enjoy working with this very determined and talented athlete.
Elise has incredible work ethic and this year, and is reaping the rewards of all her hard work.
Elise competes in the Pre-Juvenile U13 category and started off her year with a gold medal at Summer Sizzle and followed it up with another gold medal at COS Summer Skate. Elise captured yet another gold medal at Isabelle Henderson competition in mid September and a few weeks later won the silver medal at Octoberfest.  She will be competing at the STARSkate Championships in February in hopes of qualifying for the Skate Ontario Championships in March.
Elise is trilingual  attending a French Immersion school and German school on Saturdays.  She runs cross country and has qualified for regionals for the past two years.  Elise is the co-founder of the newspaper club at her school that is published monthly, and also participates in the yearbook club, sings in the choir and plays the flute.
Elise’s love for the sport of figure skating is infectious and we enjoy watching her light shine brighter every day.

Good job Elise,  the RTC family is very proud of you!
